Forhad Hossain
Founder and Executive Director
Forhad Hossain has dedicated over 30 years to transforming the lives of more than 30,000 vulnerable children in Bangladesh. Beginning his journey in 1989 and officially founding LEEDO in 2000, he pioneered initiatives such as Schools Under the Sky, Mobile Schools, Inclusive Schools, and the Peace Homea permanent sanctuary for homeless and differently-abled children. His advocacy has included securing passports and citizenship rights for street children, enabling them to represent Bangladesh in global events like the Street Child Cricket World Cup and Football World Cup. Honored internationally, including with the Juliette Gimon Courage Award, Forhad continues to champion a vision where no child is invisible, denied dignity, or left behind.

Dr. Mohammed Moshtaq Pervez

Dr. Pervez, MBBS, MPH, MRCP, is a recognized expert in clinical medicine, infectious diseases, and maternal and child health. As a Senior Scientist at ICDDR,b, he has led research that transforms scientific evidence into practical healthcare solutions for underserved communities. With a global perspective and experience improving health systems in resource-limited settings, Dr. Pervez provides invaluable guidance to LEEDO, helping advance child rights, health equity, and long-term wellbeing.

Advocate Mojibur Rahman
Board Member
Advocate Mojibur Rahman brings expertise in law, human resource management, and project coordination. Serving as Assistant Manager (F&A) and Corporate Legal Assistant at Abdul Monem Ltd., he combines legal insight with administrative skill. His experience includes coordinating UNICEF-funded education programs for working children and expertise in corporate law, labor issues, ADR, and contract management. He is committed to justice, equity, and child protection, strengthening LEEDO’s mission to empower vulnerable communities.

He also mentors’ youth in digital initiatives and advocacy, empowering the next generation to leverage technology for social impact.
